Guided Salt River Rafting
Embark on a scenic journey down the Lower Salt River aboard our 8-person inflatable rafts. Our guided 2 to 3 hour raft trips are offered year round and either begin at Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch (Summer) or Phon D Sutton Recreation Area (Fall/Winter). Once you check in, our trained staff will provide you with a PFD (personal flotation device) and go over what to expect, paddle techniques, safety and address questions.
Marvel at the majestic desert Saguaros, towering cottonwood trees, and the surrounding mountains while looking out for wild horses, cardinals, great blue herons and other native wildlife. Our guides are knowledgeable about the surrounding area and will provide you with fun facts and a scenic adventure that you can tell all of your friends about.

Disclosure: This is not a white water rapids trip, this is a mellow and relaxing, scenic trip. You may get splashed but can expect to stay mostly dry. Please view the weather report before your trip and dress accordingly. Jackets can be worn under your PFD, however, please avoid super puffy jackets as they can hinder the effectiveness of your PFD. PDFs are mandatory for all guests.
Guided Kayaking & Paddle Boarding
Step away from the stress of daily life and enjoy paddling along diverse desert cliff-lined shores and tall canyons on a guided kayaking and paddle boarding tour on Saguaro Lake. Our Guides are knowledgable about the surrounding area and will guide you to Willow Canyon, a secluded quiet cove with towering cliffs, away from the main part of the lake.
Some of the local wildlife you can expect to see during your paddle may include bald eagles, bighorn sheep and blue heron. The contrast of the blue water against the desert topography is like nowhere else in the world!
