Salt River Fishing

The Lower Salt River has some of the best fishing in Central Arizona. Although the flows are highly seasonal (high in the summer and low in the winter), both Largemouth Bass and Rainbow Trout are plentiful in the river. Most bass caught are on the smaller side but there are some whoppers to be found.  We have complimentary fishing poles and limited tackle available at the front desk for use by lodging guests.

The river is stocked with trout every two weeks from October through June. You can learn more about fishing in this area at the AZ Game & Fishing Department.
