Thank you for joining us this season for our Public Dinner Events!

Our team here at Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch would love to thank everyone who came out to join us for our public dinner events this past season!  Our Cowboy Cookouts and Brisket & Burger BBQ's are so much fun for us to host, and we really enjoy getting to share the ranch with so many new and returning guests.

When will the Public Dinner Events Return?

With the desert heating up, we will be pausing these outdoor public dinners until October 2024.  We will still be offering indoor dinners on select nights for our lodging guests, so please be sure to ask about those when you make your lodging reservation to stay with us over the summer.  Also check back here or follow us on Instagram/Facebook for next season's public dinner schedule. We can't wait to invite you for dinner again in the Fall, but in the meantime, you can beat the Arizona heat by jumping on one of our Salt River kayaking or rafting trips! More Information below:

We went to dinner. Upon arriving, we were met by a gentleman wearing a very nice western jacket who welcomed us and directed us where to go. We checked in with no issues. We had appetizers and enjoyed listening to the band. When dinner was announced, we went to our seats and the procedure of how food would be served was explained. The food quality was excellent although my eyes were bigger than my stomach! Each person serving the food was very friendly. There was even a delectable dessert. All the while the three piece band entertained us. The same gentleman who greeted us came over and provided more information about the ranch which we found to be very interesting. To top it off, when the sun set, it displayed a beautiful scene of the majestic cliffs. The whole evening was delightful.

Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch is a gem. The setting is stunning with the Bulldog Cliffs looming over the ranch, which is quaint and friendly. The food is outstanding. The Brisket & BBQ dinners are my favorite. I look forward to trying the SW dinner soon. Holly and the team do a tremendous job!

This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I stayed two nights and it was exactly what we needed. We were lucky enough to be there for the cowboy cookout, which included awesome steak, a bonfire, and live music. Additionally, the staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help. I would recommend this place to anyone. My wife and I plan on making another trip in the near future.

We attended the St Patrick's Day dinner. The members of our party varied in age and sex, but we all had a fabulous time. The ranch has a very welcoming, homey feel and the staff are amazing! They are ridiculously kind, considerate, and attentive--every last one of them. The food was delicious, and the live music adds a charge/buzz to the atmosphere. We can hardly wait to go back next season and will most definitely be planning to attend several dinners.  The atmosphere is appropriate for both family and romance, and the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. Though we didn't stay at the property overnight, it seems like a fun place to spend a weekend if you are trying to get away from the chaos and want some quiet time or to reconnect with nature.

Summer Activities

Kayaking & Paddle Boarding

In the Summer, there is no better way to escape the heat than to marvel at the beautiful Tonto National Forest from your kayak or paddle board. Launching directly from the Ranch, you will paddle below thousand-foot cliffs and beside majestic saguaros in the Sonoran Desert. While this is primarily a scenic float there are sections of swift water and kayakers often tip out – so be prepared to get wet. We have a 2 hour (Foxtail) and a 4.5 hour (Granite Reef) option departing from Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch.

*For more wildlife viewing and less river traffic, book earlier morning trips.

Paddle Boarding: Call or book online any of our kayak trips and then just let us know you would like a paddle board instead of a kayak by email or phone and we’ll have one ready for you!

Marvel at the majestic desert Saguaros, towering cottonwood trees, and the surrounding mountains while looking out for wild horses, cardinals, great blue herons and other native wildlife. Our guides are knowledgeable about the surrounding area and will provide you with fun facts and a scenic adventure that you can tell all of your friends about.
