How to Enjoy the Ranch:

*Ride Horseback...in the desert of the Tonto National Forest.  These guided trips follow trails with names like Horsethief Wash, Copper Mine, Skyline--all of them affording gorgeous views of the surrounding country.  Longer trips mean a close-up of Four Peaks or the foothills of the Superstition Mountains.  Special breakfast or sunset rides feature rockhounding, birdwatching, photography, and the outdoor enjoyment of good food and great scenery. 

*Get Wet...Water recreation in the middle of the desert is a special experience.  A sparkling swimming pool graces the main lawn.  The Salt River curves under sheer cliffs, along tree and sagebrush lined banks, all below crystalline blue skies.  Tubing, kayaking, or rafting is a must.  A boat trip on Saguaro Lake, ringed by sheer rock cliffs and winding among deep canyons, is unforgettable.  Fishing, water skiing, and sailing are all available. 

*Explore...the Ranch grounds have many places for armchair reading, sunbathing, sketching...you name it.  Guided hiking, mountain biking, and Jeep trips go further afield.
